MSN Installer issue Error 1714 Older Version of DIGReqEx cannot be removed...
When Installing MSN 9 you get the following error:
"MSN Installer error
No features installed
These features were not installed:
MSN Explorer click here for details
A required component could not be installed: MSN Explorer
Support Files
MSN Explorer Support Files click
here for details
Error 1714.The older version of DIGReqEx cannot be removed.
Contact your technical support group. System Error 1612.
To try installing these features again, click Retry. If this problem persists,
contact customer support.
To try installing MSN later, click Finish, and then use Add/Remove Programs in
Control Panel. See Windows Help for detailed instructions on Add/Remove
Programs."
The only known solution is to
create a new profile in
Windows XP, install
MSN, then go into the old profile to use it. The profile is corrupt.
